Sarah | #52Portraits Week 7

For the seventh week of my portrait challenge, I met with Sarah in Finsbury Park for a relaxed portrait session. I have the self-appointed title of “Least Prepared Londoner”, as I don’t own either an umbrella or a rain coat – not very nice on days such as this. Upon arrival to the park, we were met by gale-force winds and freezing rain to boot. We took shelter in a fallen tree and waited for the clouds to pass, taking photos in between gusts of wind. In classic spring style, the sun came and left again, meaning that the lighting was continually changing. After a while of this, we retreated to Sarah’s flat and demolished a pack of cookies and a few cups of tea while we dried off. We took a few portraits by windowlight in Sarah’s room, and finished as the light grew dim. Thank you to Sarah for being such a trooper and laughing through the storm with me. Next time I promise I’ll bring an umbrella.

As usual, you can find me  and through my facebook page.
